Here we will carry out genealogical research of your family’s history, based on records found in state, municipal and parish archives. This will include information on the dates of their departure from Santa Croce, means of transportation, port of embarcation and arrival, with corresponding dates. Our research will also include information regarding their social situation, profession, address in Santa Croce del Sannio, etc. We will make photographic copies of all these records, and of their former houses, if available. Based on this research, we will work with you to construct their history and a picture of their lives while here.
If you desire to learn if you qualify for Italian citizenship, we will aid you in obtaining the necessary documents for obtaining Italian citizenship “iure sanguinis”, such as birth and marriage certificates for your ancestors. These will be found in the municipal archives, or if before 1871, in the parish archives.
Service 2: Organizing Your Visit to Santa Croce
For those of you who would like to visit their native village, we will organize your trip to make it meaningful and memorable. Our service will consist of:
